		<description>I tried to install Snort and turned out it consumed way too much resources. I have to turn it off because it alone used up like 40% of my RAM.

It may be a good idea for large dedicated servers but not for small slices of VPS.</description>

		<description>Change the default port for each daemon you use, I use to add 7000 to the default, so ssh it&#039;s on 7022. 
And don&#039;t let the daemons show it&#039;s fingerprint as long as you can.</description>
