		<description>@Yang: I wouldn&#039;t be surprised if rsnapshot uses rsync. That&#039;s how a lot of graphical programs came to be in the Linux world: they often don&#039;t have anything more than a graphical interface to the user, and an interface to some command-line program.

GUIs are nice for new people; but, eventually, it becomes far easier to use the command line, where all options and settings are only a switch away.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m told that rsnapshot relies on rsync to trasmit files on SSH from and to remote servers? Is that true?

So if I am using rsnapshot to back things up already, there&#039;s no need to use rsync right? I mean I&#039;m pretty new to Debian and with rsnapshot I save all the trouble to set up cron and things like that that would otherwise have to be set up with rsync.</description>
